A History of Cactus Communications

Cactus Communications was established in 1994. Ingrid Koch, President, is a former employee of the Provincial Telco AGT (now TELUS). She started Cactus with all the background and knowledge critical in serving customers in the communications industry.

With the expanding customer base from Medicine Hat and surrounding area, it was evident that more staffing and diversified services were an essential need to better serve our clients. In May of 2003, we were proud to open our new 8000 square foot building which features: an 80 foot drive through bay, expanded shop and technical area, and plenty of parking as a convenience to better serve our clients.

We have a huge display area showcasing our TELUS Mobility cellular and data products, TELUS High Speed Internet, MIKE, 2-Way products, Viper and Compustar remote car starters, truck accessories and more. Incorporated into the building is a training conference room to welcome our corporate clients into.

Our Second location in Redcliff opened September 2007 offering the same services as our main location plus a 100 foot drive-thru bay.

In a very short time, Ingrid and her staff have been recognized with many awards but the one of which they are the most proud is their "Customer Service Award"
